A facial is a treatment given by a licensed aesthetician that cleanses, exfoliates and treats the skin on your face, neck and shoulders, finishing with products matched to your skin type. At The Spa Ligonier every facial begins with a skin analysis, so the steps and the products are chosen for what your skin is doing that day rather than from a fixed script. Treatments run from a thirty-minute express cleanse to ninety unhurried minutes.

Every facial is an individual service you can book on its own. For ongoing skin health, we typically recommend a facial about once a month — and we offer facial memberships to make that easy. Ask your aesthetician what cadence is right for your skin.
About once a month suits most skin — that is roughly the length of a skin cell turnover cycle. If you are treating something specific like congestion, your aesthetician may suggest a shorter run of appointments closer together, then a monthly rhythm afterwards.
